In less than 20 seconds, ALERT™ completes a systems
check and blank test.
TAKE A BREATH SAMPLE
ALERT™ automatically tells you when it’s ready for the
subject to take a test. Just breathe into the unit for 5
seconds and the unit monitors the breath flow to ensure
an accurate breath test. A visual and audio cue is
provided, and if the subject should abort the test,
ALERT™ is ready within 5 seconds for a retest. ALERT™
safeguards against user interference or false readings due
to operator error.
READ THE RESULTS
ALERT™ conducts the analysis with an electro-chemical
(fuel cell) sensor and the results are displayed in a few
seconds with an accuracy of 0.005, the standard
evidentiary testing.
PRINT THE TEST RECORD
ALERT™ is designed to integrate with a portable printe
to provide a complete print record of the breath test
procedure. One or more copies may be printed
immediately. The results are also stored in memory fo
later retrieval.
CONNECT TO A PC
ALERT™ also provides a means for PC communication to
download data, set the date and time, and custom
configure the print record.
DESIGNED FOR THE FI ELD
ALERT™ and the portable printer run on rechargeable
NiCd batteries. An AC and DC power adapter are provided
with the complete kit to ensure that you will never be at
a loss of power. ALERT™ turns off to conserve energy.
