Rap Scintillation Probes CDV 700
Must be used with the GateMan radiation monitor or other brands of instruments capable of running an external scintillation probe.

Detector: Type-CsI (Tl) crystal (Cesium Iodide Thallium)
Radiation Detected:
RAP47-gamma, 8 keV to 1 MeV. Typical absorption 100% at 47 keV, 80% at 100 keV
RAP200-gamma, 8 keV to 1 MeV. Typical absorption 97% at 100 keV, 77% at 185 keV
RAP640-gamma, 8 keV to 3 MeV. Typical absorption 70% at 600 keV, 50% at 840 keV

Easily replaces the existing
beta/gamma probe with a pancake GM.

*For use with CDV-700 meters only.

Detector:
Type - GM tube with thin mica window. Effective Diameter: 1.75 inches (45 mm). Window Thickness: 1.4-2.0 mg/cm2.
Radiation Detected:
Alpha, beta, gamma, x-ray

General Use:SCINTILLATION PROBES: Radiation safety officers and managers, Border guards, and Customs officers. CDV-700RP: Civil Defense, Emergency response personnel.

Common Applications: SCINTILLATION PROBES: For detecting special nuclear material (uranium 235), NORM contamination surveys (especially for radium 226 and lead 210), Gamma and x-ray detection, Screening scrap metal. CDV-700RP: Surveying for contamination at spill and accident scenes, anti-terrorism
